| I thought I was a little more romantic?!?! huh? Huh? I wonder why people think the hearts are so romantic on Valentines Day?!? I mean look at that thing........ LOOK AT IT!!!! Well, first the heart is the strongest muscle in your whole entire body. Your heart is a working beating muscle. It never gets tired. These are the parts of the heart that we are going to talk about are the atrium, the septum, the ventricle, and the valves. The Atrium: The atrium is the part of the heart that brings in the blood. In the atrium The Septum: The septum are the tissues in your heart that separates the left and the right sides The Right Ventricle: The right ventricle gets blood from the right atrium. It get the blood that needs more oxygen. The Left Ventricle: The left ventricle has the blood that has already got oxygen from the lungs, and it is being sent out to the rest of the body. |
