What are mountains?

Hey, guys, what's up? I just learned that the oceanic crust is recycled at a subduction zone where one leading edge of convergent lithospheric plates is subducted beneath the other and remelted.  This all means that the crust is melted and made (or formed) again once it is hardened. Other parts of the oceanic crust is formed by volcanos.

Wow, continental crust is composed of materials less dense than oceanic crust so it flows on the mantle rather than being subducted into the athenosphere. The highest mountain range in the world, the snow-capped Himalays, is an example of a continent-to-continent.

K-2 is the second highest mountain in the world, I wish I was the second highest mountain in the world. Anyway, K-2 formed when two plates moved together and created a mountain.Well see you guys later!

Inventions that changed our lives

Computers have had a great impact on the world, changing our lives greatly.  For example, they have helped us with more accurate predictions in health, the environment, weather and discoveries of our universe. Without them, we wouldn't have the extensive knowledge that we have today.  I am really glad we have computers, they made a big difference in our world.  Also, we can order stuff online and play games.  Computer are really cool!

I really didnt know this but, Charles Babbabge, who lived from 1792-1871 invented the computer.  I wonder how he did it.  I imagine he initially made a lot of errors and did not get them correct, but he tried and tried and finally got it.  In 1822, he created the "analytical engine".

Computers started entering homes in 1989 and now they are found in most homes today.  I wonder if there will be a day when they will be found in all homes? And, I wonder how much faster they can possibly become?  Check back with me later and maybe I can answer these questions.  Ok, well, bye.
